Life in

South Korea

Discover traditional Korean arts and lifestyle at Korea House in Seoul. In Seoul, enjoy the national entertainment in the evening: karaoke. Get lost in the gardens and halls of the mythical Gyeongbokgung Palace. Swap your beer for a glass of soju, a sweet potato alcohol. Contemplating the foggy panorama from the top of Mount Seoraksan.

Transports in

South Korea

Renting a car is not the best idea, because of the huge traffic jams in Seoul and around the big cities. Parking lots are expensive. The national company Korail provides comfortable, punctual and relatively cheap trains. South Korean trains are generally punctual, the bus network is dense and the frequency good. Buses are cheaper than trains. There are regular buses or shuttle buses to Seoul from Incheon (several stops). Buses also serve all major cities in the country.
