Life in

Greece

Admire the perfection of the theater of Epidaurus. To bask in the turquoise waters of the small island of Elafonissos. Soak up the strange atmosphere that hovers over the Magne, the southernmost tip of the Peloponnese. Walk up the sacred path to the temple of Apollo in Delphi. Hike or climb Mount Olympus. Admire the most beautiful sunset over Athens by climbing the hill of the Philopappous monument: on one side, the Acropolis, on the other side the straight streets down to the sea, and all around the mountains.

Transports in

Greece

Renting a car will make your travel easier, except in big cities like Athens, but the rates vary quite a lot depending on the season (especially on the islands). In general, the rates of small local companies are cheaper, but their vehicles are often in worse condition. Greece is not the country of trains, the entire Greek railway network is just under 1,500 km long, but buses are very common. It is the most common means of public transportation used by Greeks.
