Why nomads love
Georgia
?
  • Hiker's paradise: discover Caucasus in Svaneti and Stepandsminsda regions, through the most beautiful alpine trails
  • Wine country: wine is engraved in the Georgian identity, traditionally aged in clay pots called kvervri buried in the ground
  • Rich and historic heritage: Georgia mixes western codes and eastern influences and all this is part of its charm

Life in

Georgia

Take your time to go from the fascinating urbanism of Tbilisi to the fierce serenity of the mountain villages, from the liveliness of the small towns to the fervor of the churches, from the troglodyte monasteries to the Epicure in a country where wine and good food are a second religion, from a tour in the vineyards of Kakhetia to the meditation in movement of the great hikes, from the contemplation of the highest peaks of the Caucasus to the one of the Black Sea...

Transports in

Georgia

The famous marshrutka vans, Ford, Mercedes, Iveco etc., converted into minibuses, travel all over the country from the bus stations (avtovagzal). Good news: very cheap and relatively comfortable. Collective cabs wait for passengers at bus stations for many connections. Trains are not fast but comfortable and only one railway line connects Tbilisi to Batumi, via Gori and Kutaisi. To rent a car, a great vigilance is necessary on the road, the traffic can be rather unbridled and chaotic.
